The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed higher across all indices on Tuesday, with a total turnover of 110.58 million lei (21.72 million euro).
The main BVB index, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, rose by 0.83%, up to 24,247.43 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed up by 0.80%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 0.77%, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, gained 0.75%.
Moreover, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an increase of 0.78%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, went slightly up 0.03%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes the 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, increased by 0.13%.
The most liquid shares were those of Banca Transilvania with transactions of 12.52 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom (9.12 million lei) and Nuclearelectrica (8.58 million lei).
The best developments were recorded by Societatea de Constructii Napoca shares (+13.74%), Armatura (+6.60%) and Condmag (+4%).
On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Compania Energopetrol (-8.64%), Sinteza (-6.45%) and Altur (-5.34%).
