The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed higher across all indices on Tuesday, with a total turnover of 186.88 million lei (36.71 million euro).
The main BVB index, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, rose by 0.73%, up to 23,842.50 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed up by 0.70%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 1.04%, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, gained 0.78%.
Moreover, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an increase by 0.71%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, went up 0.78%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes the 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, declined by 0.27% compared with the previous session.
The most liquid shares were those of Societatea Energetica Electrica with transactions of 12.84 million lei, followed by Banca Transilvania (6.91 million lei) and Hidroelectrica (6.41 million lei).
The best developments were recorded by Armatura shares (+14.66%), Prefab (+14.57%) and UAMT SA (+12.55%).
On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Altur (-5.07%), Vancart (-2.83%) and Rompetrol Well Services (-2.34%).
