Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Friday's trading session with gains across most indices

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Friday's trading session with gains across most indices, and the turnover stood at over 8.5 million lei (1.6 million euros), after half an hour of trading.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an increase of 0.40%, while the BET-Plus index, which reflects the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, marked a 0.30% gain.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, covering the 25 most liquid stocks, rose 0.39%, while the benchmark for investment fund returns, BET-BK, appreciated 0.35%.

The BET-FI index of the SIFs (Financial Investment Companies) recorded an increase of 0.22%, and the BET-NG index, reflecting the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, showed an advance of 0.75%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, was down 0.22%.

According to BVB data, the largest share price increases were seen in: Promateris (+13.17%), Artego (+9.76%), Rompetrol Rafinare (+5.94%),

 

On the other hand, the declining stocks were Chimcomplex (-9.80%), VranCart (-5.00%), Aerostar (-4.20%).
