The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened higher on most indices on Tuesday, with a trading volume of 5.14 million RON (1.01 million EUR) recorded 30 minutes after the start of trading.
The main BET index, which tracks the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, was up 0.63%, while the BET-Plus index, covering the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, rose 0.61%.
The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid securities increased by 0.60%, while the investment fund benchmark BET-BK gained 0.65%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs advanced 0.32%, whereas BET-NG, tracking the 10 energy and utilities companies, fell 0.78%.
The BET AeRO index, representing 20 companies from the AeRO market, declined 0.13%.
According to BVB data, the top gainers were Infinity Capital Investments (+2.92%), Biofarm (+2%), and Romgaz (+1.34%).
On the other hand, the biggest losers were Armatura (-14.6%), Sinteza (-5.08%), and Bermas (-3.88%).
