The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday's session on the rise, with turnover reaching 3.64 million RON (731,451.05 euros) 30 minutes into the trading.
The main BET index, which shows the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, saw an increase of 0.32%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, was up 0.29%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, rose 0.23%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, was up 0.04%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs was stagnant at the opening, while the BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, was up 0.24%.
According to BVB data, the biggest increases in share value were recorded by Romcab (+4.53%), Aages SA (+1.57%) and Transgaz (+1.27%).
On the other hand, the shares of Impact Developer&Contractor (-2.23%), Aquila Part Prod Com (-1.56%) and Sinteza (-1.43%) were down.
