The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Thursday's session on the rise, with total transactions reaching 5.34 million lei (1.04 million euros) 30 minutes into the session.
The main BET index, which shows the development of the 20 most liquid companies, saw an increase of 0.16%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the development of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, saw an increase of 0.15%, agerpres reports.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, gained 0.10%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, inched up 0.06%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs lost 0.13%, while BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, increased by 0.34%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was up 0.16%.
According to the BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Energopetrol Company (14.29%), Altur (4.51%) and the Globinvest Energy&Financials ETF Open-Ended Investment Fund (2.6%).
On the other hand, Lion Capital shares (-1.74%), Hidroelectrica (-0.99%) and Premier Energy (-0.86%) were decreasing.
