The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday's session in the green, with total transactions accounting for 4.5 million lei (890,724 euros), 35 minutes into the trading.
The main BET index, which shows the development of the 20 most liquid companies, gained 0.36%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the development of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, saw an increase of 0.34%, agerpres reports.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, gained 0.32%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, inched up 0.41%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs went down 0.15%, while the BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, increased by 0.40%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was up 0.53%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Bittnet Systems SA Bucharest (3.07%), Transelectrica (1.97%) and Transgaz (1.91%).
On the other hand, the shares of Condmag (-3.85%), the Globinvest Energy&Finacials ETF Open-Ended Investment Fund (-2.48%) and Turbomecanica (-1.07%) were down.
