Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Tuesday's trading session higher
The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday's trading session higher on almost all indices, with turnover of 3.4 million lei (690,029 euros), half an hour after the start of trading, told Agerpres.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, registered an appreciation of 0.40%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, was up 0.39%.
Meanwhile, the BET-XT blue-chip broad index of the 25 most liquid stocks was up 0.36%, while the benchmark for mutual fund returns, BET-BK, gained 0.37%.
The SIF's BET-FI index was up 0.02%. BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities companies, appreciated 0.40%.
According to BVB data, Condmag (+11.11%), SSIF BRK Financial Group (+4.50%) and Zentiva (+2.78%) registered the highest increases in share value.
On the other hand, shares of Transilvania Investments Alliance (-1.76%), SIF Muntenia (-1.44%) and Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (-0.71%) were down.
