The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Wednesday's trading session with most indices on the rise, and 30 minutes into business, the turnover stood at RON 9.232 million (EUR 1.865 million).
The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, picked up 0.31 percent, and and so did the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares, agerpres reports.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers opened 0.26 percent up, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK advanced 0.27 percent.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies decreased 0.20 percent, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG rose 0.28 percent.
The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market was 0.29 percent down.
According to BVB, the issuers to see the largest price rise were Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+8.37 percent), Transgaz (+2.04 percent) and Alro (+1.31 percent).
Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were SOCEP (-4.2 percent), Societatea Energetica Electrica (-1.81 percent) and SIF Muntenia (-1.40 percent).
