The Minister of Labor, Marius Budai, stated on Wednesday that the teachers are entitled to be dissatisfied and the Interministerial Committee, which is to be set up, will look for solutions to solve this problem, mentioning that Social Democratic Party (PSD) is open to dialogue.

"Teachers are dissatisfied and they are entitled to be dissatisfied. However, we are coming after 2 years of freezing salaries in the public pay system. We are in a situation where the coalition has agreed and we are setting up that inter-ministerial committee to look for solutions to solve the problem. You are in power, you have to find solutions," Budai said at the PSD headquarters.

Asked what he conveys to parents, due to the fact that there are no classes given the teachers' strike, Budai said that he is open to dialogue.

Employees of pre-university education members of the two representative federations - the Federation of Free Trade Unions in Education (FSLI) and the "Spiru Haret" Federation of Education Trade Unions - were on strike on Wednesday, between 11.00 and 13.00, informs a release issued by the two trade unions.

The protest of the members of the two trade unions is caused by the refusal of the Government to negotiate with the representatives of the trade union federations in education and to adopt concrete measures to resolve their dissatisfaction, the release mentioned.
