The Bulgarian authorities have announced the closure of the Giurgiu-Ruse Friendship Bridge on 4 and 5 November due to construction work and the installation of new reinforced concrete road panels, a release of the National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) informed.
According to the release, on Tuesday, 4 November, between 9:00 and 21:00, road traffic will be closed in both directions for all types of vehicles.
Subsequently, from 21:00 on 4 November to 9:00 on 5 November, road traffic will be allowed only for vehicles with a maximum authorised mass of less than 3.5 tonnes, as well as those carrying passengers.
