The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed on Monday higher on almost all indices, with total trading of 84.135 million lei (16.529 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, rose by 0.57%, up to 23,670.64 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed up by 0.56%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 0.32%, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, gained 0.32%.
Moreover, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, also register an increase by 0.52%, while the SIF index BET-FI closed up 0.22%.
At the same time, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, lost 0.22% of its value compared to the previous session.
The most liquid stocks were those of Hidroelectrica, with transactions of 12.278 million lei, followed by shares of Banca Transilvania (10.224 million lei) and those of Fondul Proprietatea (9.46 million lei).
At the same time, the best developments were recorded by the shares of SSIF BRK Financial Group S.A. (+14.49%), Armatura S.A. (+13.73%) and Altur S.A. (+5.34%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Condmag S.A. (-3.85%), the Bucharest Stock Exchange (-2.16%) and IAR S.A. Brasov (-1.75%).
