BVB stocks close Wednesday's trading session mostly lower

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks closed mostly lower on Wednesday on trades of RON 45.49 million (EUR 9.14 million).

The most traded stocks were Banca Transilvania, with RON 12.88 million in trades, followed by BRD - Groupe Societe Generale, which generated trades worth RON 4.62 million, and Digi Communications, with trades of RON 2.51 million.

The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks declined 0.26% to 17,060.58 points, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks went down 0.24%.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks fell by 0.23%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was down 0.15%.

The BET-FI index of financial intermediation stocks increased by 0.17%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, decreased by 0.23%.

The BET AeRO index of 20 AeRO leading companies was up 0.61%.

The top three risers were Romcarbon (+14.81%), Altur (+5.94%) and Ropharma (+4.67%).

On the other hand, the top three fallers were Mecanica Ceahlau (-9.48%), Aeta SA (-8.90%) and Compa (-2.36%).
