BVB stocks open Wednesday's trading session higher

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks opened higher on Wednesday, with trades of RON 13.7 million (EUR 2.77 million) 40 minutes into the trading session.

The most traded stocks, with trades of RON 12.8 million combined, were Romgaz, OMV Petrom and Nuclearelectrica.

The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks rose by 0.42%, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 37 most liquid BVB stocks advanced 0.39%.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks rose by 0.23%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was up 0.41%.

The BET-FI index of financial stocks increased by 0.22%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, decreased by 0.98%.

The BET AeRO index of the best 20 AeRO companies was up 0.59%.

According to BVB, the top three risers were Electroarges (+5.26%), Aerostar (+3.11%), and Nuclearelectrica (+2.59%).

On the other hand, the top three fallers were Altur (-7.08%), Romgaz (-6.31%), and Carbochim (-6.11%).
