Caretaker Prime Minister Catalin Predoiu sent on Tuesday a message of condolences following a gunman's attack on a secondary school in Graz, Austria.
"We express deep sorrow and condolences for the victims of the tragic shooting in Graz, Austria. Our thoughts are with the bereaved families and the Austrian people. We strongly condemn violence and stand in solidarity with Austrian authorities," Catalin Predoiu wrote on X.
Ten died, including the suspect, and several others were injured in a shooting at a school in Graz, southern Austria, the city's mayor Elke Kahr announced on Tuesday, as cited by APA news agency. Kahr said several injured people were taken to hospital following the shooting, which she called a "terrible tragedy."
Citing local police sources, Austrian public broadcaster ORF reported that several people, including students and teachers, were seriously injured. According to ORF, the alleged perpetrator, believed to be a student, committed suicide. AGERPRES
