The elected mayor general of the capital, Ciprian Ciucu, took the oath for taking office on Friday.
"I swear to respect the Constitution and the law of the country and to do in good faith everything in my power and ability for the good of the inhabitants of Bucharest. So help me God!", said Ciucu, at the meeting of the General Council of Bucharest, convened for this ceremony.
Ciprian Ciucu emphasized that he wishes for a good collaboration with the members of the General Council of Bucharest and with the district mayors.
