A number of 178,500 doses of Spikevax/Moderna vaccine arrived on Friday at the "Cantacuzino" National Institute for Medical-Military Research and Development, the National Coordinating Committee for Vaccination Activities against COVID-19 (CNCAV) informs, Agerpres reports.
According to the quoted source, the transport is provided by the manufacturing company, and the vaccine doses were brought to Bucharest by land.
The vaccine doses will be distributed as follows:
* Brasov Regional Storage Center - 36,000 doses
* Cluj Regional Storage Center - 36,000 doses
* Constanta Regional Storage Center - 36,000 doses
* Iasi Regional Storage Center - 34,500 doses
* Timisoara Regional Storage Center - 36,000 doses.
CNCAV mentions that, to date, 3,182,400 Moderna doses have been received and 966,712 have already been used to immunize the population.
