CNSU proposes obligation of medical or FFP2 masks

The National Committee for Emergency Situations (CNSU) adopted in Wednesday's meeting the decision on the proposal to extend the state of alert and the measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, Agerpres reports.

According to it, "it is proposed to maintain the obligation to wear a protective mask only of medical or FFP2 type, so as to cover the mouth and nose, in all closed and open public spaces, under the conditions established by the joint order of the Ministers of Health and Interior."

The following categories of persons will be exempted from this measure:

- children under the age of 5;
- people who are alone in the office;
- TV presenters and their guests, provided that the distance of 3 meters between persons is observed;
- the representatives of the religious cults, during the services, provided that the distance of 3 meters between the persons is observed;
- speakers in closed or open spaces, provided that the distance of at least 3 meters is observed between them and any of the other persons in the audience;
- persons who carry out intense physical activities and / or in demanding working conditions (high temperatures, high humidity, etc.) or sports activities.
