The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued a Code Yellow nowcasting for fog, valid in the coming hours for areas in 28 counties.
According to the ANM, until 9:00, fog will cause reduced visibility, locally below 200 m and in some places under 50 m, in localities of the following counties: Galati, Vaslui, Mures, Mehedinti, Gorj, Harghita, Brasov, Covasna, Alba, Ialomita, Calarasi, Giurgiu, Ilfov, Teleorman, Olt, Dolj, Constanta, Tulcea, Botosani, Vrancea, Iasi and Braila.
The same phenomenon will persist until 10:00 in areas of Arad, Bihor, Timis, Maramures, Caras-Severin and Hunedoara counties.
Warnings for immediate hazardous weather are issued for a maximum period of six hours.
