The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued a Code Yellow advisory for heavy rainfall in six counties, valid on Thursday, between 03:00 am and 03:00 pm.
According to meteorologists, in northern Oltenia and Muntenia there will be heavy rains, with the amounts of water reaching 20...25 liters/sqm, and over 30...40 liters/sqm, in some areas.
The advisory is targeting the counties of Gorj, Valcea, Arges, Dambovita, Prahova and the mountain area of the Buzau county.
On Wednesday, 30 July, locally, especially in the mountain areas, atmospheric instability is expected, the ANM mentions.
