Conductor Ion Marin will lead the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France in Paris on Thursday and Friday, with legendary pianist Martha Argerich as the soloist.
According to a press release the "Madrigal - Marin Constantin" National Chamber Choir sent to AGERPRES on Tuesday, the events will take place in the impressive space of the Radio France Auditorium in the heart of Paris, at the Maison de la Radio et de la Musique. The programme will include two works by Ludwig van Beethoven - Piano Concerto No. 2, with Martha Argerich as the soloist, followed by Symphony No. 7.
Ion Marin is no stranger to collaborating with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. In 2012, the renowned Romanian-born conductor was invited to lead the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France at the Palace Hall in Bucharest, as part of the "RadiRo" International Festival of Radio Orchestras.
The Paris concert on April 4 will be filmed by the ARTE TV European channel and will be broadcast live on Radio France - France Musique.
