The consultations of the Interim President Ilie Bolojan with the parties and parliamentary formations in order to prepare Romania's position at the extraordinary meeting of the European Council to be held on March 6 will conclude on Wednesday, at the Cotroceni Palace, with representatives of the National Liberal Party (PNL).

The discussions are attended by the interim president of the PNL, Catalin Predoiu, the interim secretary general of the party, Adrian Vestea, first vice presidents Dan Motreanu and Ciprian Ciucu and the mayor of Cluj-Napoca, Emil Boc.
The interim president is accompanied by presidential advisors Cristian Diaconescu, Luminita Odobescu and Bogdan Mazuru, as well as state advisor Bianca Firezar.
"First of all, thank you for accepting the change of the meeting time, but as I informed you, it was a teleconference with Presidents Costa and Macron and we had no other option but to reschedule the meeting," Bolojan said at the start of the meeting.
The consultations at the Cotroceni Palace began on Wednesday morning with the PSD delegation. Later, the interim president consulted with representatives of the Alliance for the Unity of Romanians, the Save Romania Union, the S.O.S. Romania Party, and the Parliamentary Group of National Minorities. The discussions concluded with the PNL delegation. The Young People's Party did not participate in the consultations.
