Cristian Pistol, Director General of the National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR), signed a contract on Wednesday with MOL Romania Petroleum Products for leasing out the first two petrol stations on the Moldova Motorway (A7).
"Today, I signed the contract for leasing out the first two service stations on the Moldova Motorway (A7)! Good news for drivers arrives sooner than the permanent stations: I spoke with the General Manager of MOL Romania, Gabor Mozga, who expressed a willingness to have the operator install temporary container units for fuel supply until the permanent facilities are completed," Pistol noted on his Facebook account.
Each of the two service areas at km 91 (near the locality of Valea Ramnicului), conceded to MOL Romania Petroleum Products, will offer a range of modern amenities, such as: 94 parking spaces for passenger cars, 33 parking spaces for trucks, six parking spaces for buses, six parking spaces for people with disabilities, public restrooms, showers, fuel dispensing stations, retail areas, a snack bar, and electric vehicle charging stations.
The concession contract has a duration of 20 years, and the concessionaire has 21 months to complete all mandatory facilities.
