The group of PNL deputies demanded early this week that a political be debate organized Monday on "Romanian electoral legislation must ensure better representation of citizens", with the presence of prime minister, under Article 206 of the Chamber of Deputies' Regulation, which refers to the Prime Minister's Hour. The liberals' request was approved Wednesday by the Standing Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies.
According to the request signed by the leader of the liberal MPs, Eugen Nicolaescu, the debate will dwell on topics such as election of mayors in two rounds, preparing parliamentary elections and guaranteeing access of Romanians abroad to voting by correspondence. AGERPRES
