The Israeli Ambassador to Romania, Lior Ben Dor, paid a visit to Dâmbovita on Tuesday, met with representatives of the county authorities, the business community, the Valahia University of Targoviste, and visited tourist attractions in the area.
"I am proud to be able to speak your language. I am of Romanian origin. I was born in Israel and I am proud to represent the country where I was born in the country where my parents and grandparents and great-grandparents were born. I am very happy and honored to visit Târgovi?te and Dâmbovi?ta County. We have already had a very interesting discussion and I know that the visit here will be very interesting and we will talk about business opportunities and economic partnership. It is very important for us to strengthen the collaboration between both peoples (...). We greatly appreciate Romania's friendship for us and its support and solidarity", declared the Israeli ambassador to Romania, Lior Ben Dor, in a press conference held at the Targoviste Art Museum.
The President of Dambovita County Council, Corneliu Stefan, says that he made a presentation of the county, as well as the economic and tourist opportunities.
"We had an applied discussion about what opportunities we have in Dambovita County and, last but not least, today we have a program of visits to the tourist attractions in Targoviste, but also a meeting with the business environment and another administrative meeting that we will have together. I want to thank the ambassador very much for his presence in Dambovita County, I want to thank him for the availability he had and has regarding the collaboration that I want us to have in the coming period", said Corneliu Stefan.
