Romanian athlete Denis Florin Mihai will compete in the re-qualifiers of the 60 kg category, in Greco-Roman wrestling, after he was defeated on Monday in the round of 16 of the Under-23 World Wrestling Championships in Tirana (Albania).
Mihai was defeated in the round of 16 by Alisher Ganiev, but the Uzbek's qualification in the final gave the Romanian wrestler another chance, who will compete in the re-qualification against German Georgios Scarpello on Tuesday.
In the 82 kg category, Vasile Daniel Cojoc was beaten in the preliminaries by Georgian Data Shaidze.
Romania will also be represented in Greco-Roman by Adrian Gabriel Anton (63 kg), who will compete on Tuesday.
