Head of the Emergency Situations Department (DSU) Raed Arafat considers that the mandatory COVID certificate for access to various locations should be kept in place.
"We use the COVID certificate for visitors to institutions, for people who enter certain areas. Yes, there's a clear utility for that. As for the other aspect - there is a debate in Parliament and I cannot tell you what the impact would be if it were implemented for a definite time. The matter needs to be examined, it must be considered by our fellow epidemiologists, but for the time being I consider that the certificate requirement for entering various locations and areas must continue," Raed Arafat told a press conference at the Victoria Palace of Government on Thursday.
