Employers in Romania offer 36,038 job vacancies, 251 positions in the European Economic Area

Employers in Romania are offering 36,038 job vacancies, while 251 positions are available for Romanians within the European Economic Area (EEA) through the EURES network, the National Employment Agency (ANOFM) reported in a press release sent to AGERPRES on Wednesday.

Of the 36,038 job vacancies declared by employers to employment agencies, 2,215 are aimed at people with higher education (engineers in various fields; managers in different sectors; specialists in various areas; advisers/experts/inspectors/clerks/economists in general economics; doctors in various specialties, etc.), 7,540 for those with high school or post-secondary education (sales workers; security agents; road transport drivers; cashiers; customer service agents; firefighter attendants, etc.), 6,835 for people with vocational training (production line operators; welders; goods handlers; kitchen assistants; auto mechanics, etc.), and the remaining 19,448 positions are intended for people without formal education or with primary/middle school education (couriers; unskilled workers in building demolition, masonry lining, mosaic tiles, ceramics, parquet flooring; goods handlers; security guards; unskilled workers in breaking and cutting construction materials, etc.).

The institution specifies that the database is dynamic, updating in real time based on the job vacancies declared by employers, the validity of the offers, as well as the number of assignments issued for filling the positions.

Additionally, employers in the European Economic Area, through the EURES Romania network, offer 232 jobs, with the most available in Italy (65), Norway (61), Finland (53), Germany (40), Malta (12), Austria (7), the Netherlands (6), Spain (4), Denmark (2), and France (1).
