Global digital transformation services provider Endava has signed a framework agreement with the Authority for Romania's Digital Transformation (ADR) to support the migration of at least 30 government applications to the Romanian Government's private cloud, a strategic pillar funded through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
"Romania is extremely important to Endava and this agreement represents a unique opportunity to collaborate with the Romanian Government on such a scale. We hope this partnership will become a long-term relationship, through which we will continue to support both the Government and the Romanian citizens. We also believe this project will set a precedent for a successful collaboration with administrations in all the locations where we operate, strengthening our commitment to support local communities wherever we work," Endava's Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Matt Cloke said, according to a press release sent to AGERPRES on Thursday.
According to the company, its mission is to modernise traditional systems, deliver large-scale cloud solutions and accelerate digital transformation through secure, reliable and high-performance services that provide lasting value. Thus, Endava becomes one of the pre-approved companies to assist the Romania's Government in migrating at least 30 digital service applications.

The goal of this project includes the design and architecture of a resilient private cloud infrastructure; the planning and phased execution of the migration of both traditional and custom applications; the implementation of robust security, governance and compliance frameworks and the provision of continuous support and optimization services (managed services).
The "Implementation of Government Cloud Infrastructure" project is a strategic initiative of Romania in the digitalisation of public administration, funded through the PNRR - C7 Component: Digital Transformation, with the goal of establishing a coherent and secure digital ecosystem for public administration, where digital services are hosted in a controlled, high-performance and resilient environment.
The infrastructure will be implemented across four national data centres, located in Bucharest, Brasov, Sibiu and Timisoara, and will integrate advanced solutions for processing, storage, security, backup and automated management of IT infrastructures.
