The "Oxygen 4 All" National Tour will end on Thursday with a concert scheduled in the Great Hall of the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR), held under the aegis of the George Enescu International Festival.

The proposed repertoire includes contemporary scores dedicated to both the Oxigen Ensemble formula and the Oxygen 4 All concept, being signed by important names of current musical creation, from different generations: Adrian Iorgulescu - Retrobazar; Dan Dediu - Furia; Ulpiu Vlad - Ramuri de lumina; Vlad R. Baciu - Planet Blue and Roman Vlad - Albireo, the ICR informed on Monday in a press release sent to AGERPRES.

In addition to the creators performed during the tour, the event in the Great Hall of the Romanian Cultural Institute will also feature Louis Andriessen (Lower Countries) with the work Wals, Aspasia Nasopoulou (Greece/Lower Countries) with the piece Instant and the renowned composer, pianist and conductor Fabio Nieder (Italy/Germany), with Vesper-Chiuzbaia, a composition named after the Romanian village of the same name.

The Oxygen 4 All project is carried out by the Heart-Core Cultural Association with the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute, UCMR-ADA and the Union of Composers and Musicologists of Romania. The concept of the project is a current one, born from the desire to promote contemporary Romanian artistic creation, through a valuable and particularly attractive cultural approach aimed at the general public, but especially the young.

The tour began on September 4, with a concert at the Brasov Philharmonic, and continues on September 9, with another performance at the Ploiesti Philharmonic.

The OXIGEN ensemble is one of the most valuable and promising ensembles in Romania that approaches a vast repertoire, focusing on the selection and interpretation of exceptional works belonging to the contemporary music segment. The members of the ensemble are Andreea Grelus (violin), Catalina Bordeanu (piano), Mircea Marian (cello), Carla Stoleru (flute), Mihai Pintenaru (clarinet) and Vlad Baciu (conductor).
