An exhibition dedicated to Edouard de Max (1869 - 1924), internationally renowned Romanian actor and member of the prestigious French Comedy, will be opened, on December 1, from 4:00 p.m., at the National Theater Museum in Bucharest, informs Agerpres.
According to a TNB press release sent to AGERPRES on Monday, Edouard de Max, known for his innovative approaches and unconventional spirit, made a remarkable contribution to the Parisian theater scene during the Belle Epoque.
Following the opening, the public is invited to participate in a guided visit to the permanent exhibition "Queen Maria at the theater", made within the project "Innovative exhibition with restored cultural goods from the collection of the TNB Museum".
At the National Theater I.L. Caragiale, the public can also benefit, on the occasion of Romania's National Day, from TNB's Guided Tours, which this month reach the spectacular figure of 2,000.
The holiday program includes three guided tours at 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. We will visit the backstage of the scenes, the set and costume workshops and the actors' cabins. The guide who will reveal to the visitors some of the secrets of the biggest theater in Europe, Ionut Corpaci, will complete the experience with stories from the history of the National Theatre.
Starting at 17:00, the festive atmosphere will be completed by a light projection of the national flag on the facade and the stage tower of the National Theatre.
In the evening, from 7:00 p.m., at the Media Hall, the audience is awaited by the actor Vitalie Bichir, who proposes a foray into the world of Ion Creanga. A retrospective-initiative route, occasioned by a few pages from "Childhood Memories" and pages from "Children's Teacher" (co-author Ion Creanga).
At most events, with the exception of the show for children, at the Media Hall, access is free within the limits of available seats, in the order of registration. To register, it is necessary to purchase tickets with a value of 0, from the TNB Ticket Office or online.
