The flu season's death toll hit 166 following the death of a 69-year old man from an infection caused by the A strain virus, according to the latest announcement by the National Centre for Supervision and Control of Communicable Diseases of the National Public Health Institute.
The latest flu victim, from Bucharest, was known to suffer from pre-existing medical conditions and had not been vaccinated.
