The interim president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, declared, on Friday, in Targoviste, that the PSD is in the Coalition "for now" and is not "on the verge of leaving".
"For now, we are in this Coalition, we are not on any verge of leaving, but we have decent proposals, good for Romanians, that we want to put into practice", Grindeanu told a press conference.
"No one is forcing us into this coalition. We made the decision, when we all decided, we voted almost 5,000 people, if you remember, we didn't just consult in the leadership forum, in the National Political Committee, all the county political committees voted then, all the PSD mayors, all the county councilors, the parliamentarians and almost 5,000 colleagues voted. In an overwhelming percentage, we said: yes, we are joining power we are serious partners, we want to make public policies for Romanians", stated Sorin Grindeanu.
