A number of 8,739 people infected with COVID-19 are hospitalized in specialized health units, out of whom 1,101 in intensive care units, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) informed on Thursday.
In Romania, 30,365 people confirmed with the novel coronavirus infection are in isolation at home, and 8,610 are in institutional isolation.
Also, 55,792 people are in quarantine at home, and in institutionalized quarantine - 109.
