Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan and his Hungarian counterpart, Viktor Orban, had a "pragmatic" discussion on Wednesday on the topic of consolidating interconnections in the electricity sector, the Government informs.
"A pragmatic discussion with the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, on how we need to collaborate to strengthen the electrical interconnections between Romania and Hungary and, more broadly, between the countries in our region, including Austria," a Government post on the X network states.
The UDMR president, Kelemen Hunor, also participated in the meeting in Budapest.
After the meeting in the Hungarian capital, Prime Minister Bolojan left for Vienna, for an official visit to Austria, at the invitation of Chancellor Christian Stocker.
