Romania will request approximately 800 million euros from the European Commission this year, as a European contribution, for projects related to the 2014-2020 programming period, according to a memorandum adopted by the Government on Tuesday.
The executive informs in a press release that the memorandum aims to approve the forecasts for 2025 regarding the EU contribution related to the 2014-2020 financial programming period.
"Romania will request from the European Commission, this year, approximately 800 million euros, European contribution, for projects related to the 2014-2020 programming period. This is the estimate made by the Ministry of Finance, based on information transmitted by the institutions that manage European programmes. These estimates will be transmitted to the European Commission by January 31, 2025, according to European regulations," informs the Executive.
The Government specifies that, regarding the 2021-2027 programming period, a new information is to be made.
