The 27th edition of the HOP Young Actor's Gala starts on Wednesday in Alba Iulia, where 36 young actors will compete for the trophies.
The events will take place at the "Prichindel" Puppet Theater in Alba Iulia and at the Students' Culture House, with live streaming on www.galahop.uniter.ro.
The theme of this year's edition of the HOP Gala, which runs until August 31, is "The identity of the authentic actor - the imprint of his uniqueness. The AUTHENTIC Actor - the COMPLETE Actor".
The 27th edition will take place under the artistic direction of director Erwin Simsensohn.
The Gala will take place in the form of a competition open to all graduates of theater faculties in Bucharest and in the country and is structured in two sections: Individual and Group.
The 2024 HOP Young Actor's Gala will take place on Saturday, from 20:00.
The public will be able to vote for their favorites on Saturday between 00:00 - 17:00 on www.galahop.ro.
A permanent program of UNITER, the HOP Gala is a competition that aims to promote and launch young graduates from artistic higher education. The first edition took place in 1998, under the direction of director Cornel Todea.
