Industrial production (unadjusted terms) rose by 4.6pct in the first seven months of 2018 compared to the same period of last year due to the increases in the processing industry (+5.7pct) and the mining industry (+2.8pct), while production and supply of electricity, heating, gas, hot water and air conditioning decreased by 1.1pct, the National Institute of Statistics informs in a Tuesday's release for AGERPRES.
In terms adjusted to the number of working days and seasonality, industrial production increased by 5.5pct as a result of advances in the processing industry (+7.2pct) and mining industry (+2.8pct). The production and supply of electricity, heating, gas, hot water and air conditioning decreased by 0.8pct.
