Turnover of market services rendered mainly to businesses went up 13.2% per cent in nominal terms January through October this year, compared with the same period in 2016, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INS) data published on Thursday.
This was mostly due to increases recorded in other services rendered mainly to enterprises (+16.4%), cinematography and video productions, television programmes; programme broadcasting and transportation (+5.2%), computer and information technology (+7.7%) and communications (+3.5%) sectors.
The overall turnover of market services rendered mainly to enterprises, adjusted depending on the number of business days and seasonality, increased 12% January through October of 2017, compared with the same period in 2016, in nominal terms, due to increases recorded in other services rendered mainly to enterprises (+16.6%), transportation (+15.2%), cinematography and video productions, television programmes; programme broadcasting (+15.0%), computer and information technology (+10.1%) and communications (+3.8%).
Overall turnover in market services rendered mainly to enterprises, increased 13.8%, as gross series, in nominal terms, in October 2017, as compared with October 2016, due to increases recorded in the transportation sector (+18.9%), other services rendered mainly provided to enterprises (+15.2%), computer and information technology (+5.5%), communications (+3.9%) and cinematography and video productions, television programs; programme broadcasting (+2.1%).
Overall turnover of market services rendered mainly to enterprises, adjusted depending on the number of business days and seasonality, in nominal terms, increased 13.8% as a result of the increase in the transportation sector (+18.7%), other services rendered mainly to businesses (+ 16.1%), cinematography and video productions, television programs; programme broadcasting (+ 3.8%) and communications (+ 3.1%). The computer and information technology sector declined 2.3%.
Overall turnover in market services rendered mainly to businesses, as gross series, in nominal terms, increased 1.6% in October 2017, compared to the previous month, due to increases recorded in the cinematography and video productions, television programmes; programme broadcasting (+11.4%), transportation sector (+3.5%) and communications (+1.8%). Other services rendered mainly to businesses decreased by 0.3%. The computer and information technology sector stayed at the same level.
The overall turnover of market services rendered mainly to enterprises increased by 2.3%, as adjusted series depending on the number of business days and seasonality. in nominal terms, due to increases recorded in the transportation sector (+2.1%), computer and information technology sector (+1.2%) and other services rendered mainly to enterprises (+0.4%).
