The number of commercial companies and authorized persons in insolvency increased by 8.85% in the first ten months of this year compared to the similar period in 2016, to 7,344 units, according to the data posted on the website of the National Trade Register Office (ONRC).
Most of the companies and authorized persons in insolvency are in Bucharest, respectively 1,601, up 17.46% compared to January - October 2016, followed by the counties of Iasi, with 433 (+19.23%), Bihor, with 402 cases (-14.1%) and Constanta, with 311 (+19.16%).
The largest number of insolvencies was registered in the wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles - 2.238, up 7.75%.
In October 2017, as many as 903 firms and authorized individuals became insolvency, most of these in Bucharest (208), the counties of Bihor (51) and Iasi (48).
Also, from January to October 2017, a number of 13,249 companies suspended their activity (-2.9%) and 24,254 were dissolved (-5.2%).AGERPRES .
