The number of persons who died because of flu reached 15, the National Centre for Surveillance and Control of Communicable Diseases with the National Institute of Public Health has announced on Tuesday.
The last person who died of flu was a woman, aged 70, from Bucharest.
The woman had pre-existing medical conditions, hadn't been vaccinated and was confirmed with a co-infection with type-A influenza, subtype H3 and type-B. AGERPRES
