Interactive Greater Union Centennial Map, gallery available at centenar.gov.ro

"In this unique year for Romania, we are paying tribute to those who, 100 years ago, managed to realise a seemingly impossible dream: the unification of all Romanians. They succeeded because they acted together. We are proud to inform you that available on the site http://centenar.gov.ro are an interactive Map of the Centennial that includes the projects being conducted and to be conducted on Romania's soil on the occasion of the Centennial of the Greater Union under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture and National Identity, as well as other useful info about the celebration of the Centennial. You can also find a Centennial gallery, which includes a brief description of the projects, photos and videos from the Centennial events uploaded by the MCIN team on the site mentioned above," the statement reads. 

According to Minister of Culture and National Identity George Ivascu, "in this year important to Romania, it is essential that we try to coalesce the actions that take place in 2018 at the national level, amidst the celebrations of the Centennial of the Greater Union through an integrated and uniform approach." 

MCIN says that it has launched a "call to subordinate bodies, to central and local bodies, as well as to private entities in Romania to promote the logo of the Greater Union Centennial and its visual identity elements through the continuous dissemination/use according to the specific activity of the entity concerned."
