President Nicusor Dan declared on Thursday that he had made an extensive analysis into the appointments to be made in the Prosecutor's Offices so that, when these proposals reach him, he could make an informed decision, noting that he "completely disagrees" with what is being said on social networks about the people who have applied or been selected for these positions.
"Not only will I do this analysis, I have already done a very extensive analysis, preparing for this moment. That is, I met with dozens of prosecutors over a period of dozens of hours, in which I tried to understand what each of them thinks about the other, who the top managers in this profession are, so that when the procedure carried out by the Ministry of Justice reaches me, I can make an informed decision," said Nicusor Dan, when asked about the proposals for appointments in the major Prosecutor's Offices and whether he will do a personal analysis of these appointments.
The president added that the result of the analysis he did "differs greatly from what is being speculated on social media", adding that he does not want to prejudge.
"And compared to this extensive analysis that I did and, to put it more directly, this extensive analysis that I did differs greatly from what is being speculated on social media, that is, I completely disagree with what is being said on the social media about the people who either participated in the contest or were selected, but I don't want to pre-speak at this time", said Nicusor Dan.
