Acting president Ilie Bolojan on Thursday welcomed at the Cotroceni Palace soprano Angela Gheorghiu, one of Romania's most appreciated voices internationally, the Presidential Administration informs.
According to a post on Facebook by the Presidential Administration, the meeting was an opportunity to recognize her contribution to promoting Romania's image in the world and to thank her for the joy she brings to music lovers everywhere
"Recognized for her exceptional talent and impressive career on the world's great stages, Angela Gheorghiu is a true ambassador of Romanian culture abroad," the Presidential Administration also noted.
