Ioana Dogioiu will be the new Government spokesperson starting next week.
"As of next week, Ioana Dogioiu will take over as spokesperson for the Romanian Government. With a solid career in journalism, Ioana Dogioiu is recognized for her professionalism, balance and honesty in the public sphere," reads a press release sent by the Government on Thursday, agerpres reports.
Prime minister Ilie Bolojan conveyed, the following message: "I thank Mrs. Ioana Dogioiu for accepting this responsibility, which is not easy in the current context."
The appointment aims to strengthen the dialogue between the executive and society, in a climate that demands transparency, clarity and trust, the press release mentions.
