President Klaus Iohannis stated on Tuesday that he recommends the Social Democratic Party (PSD) members to think well about the legislative changes they want to make, because the parliamentary majority that the governing coalition holds allows them to do so and, thus, avoid political errors.
When asked on Tuesday in Miercurea Ciuc, about how he comments the manner in which the Gov't has lately brought into discussion certain economic measures, afterwards withdrawn the ideas and notions released in the public space, President Klaus Iohannis stated he recommends the PSD members to think well about what they intend to do and then "come before the nation and say it."
"If new notions that are promoted one day and the other day are withdrawn are introduced in the public discussion by a coalition that holds the majority in Parliament, this thing is a serious political error. Because this majority has the parliamentary capacity to promote the amendment of the legislation and the economy, investors, entrepreneurs are reacting to such thing. I would recommend the PSD members, with a lot of warmth, to go home, think a little about their own program and when they know what they want, they should come before the nation and say it," Romania's President said.
The head of state participated on Tuesday in the debate called "Coherence and transparency - examples of good practices in Harghita and Covasna Counties," which was also attended by approximately 300 representatives of the local public administration of the two counties.
