Iohannis: Romania is committed in supporting Republic of Moldova to accede to EU

Romania is committed in supporting the Republic of Moldova during its accession process to the European Union, president Klaus Iohannis reiterated on Thursday.

"Moldova submitted the application to accede to the European Union and last night I discussed at length with president Sandu and with PM Gavrilita regarding this matter. Romania is committed, not only is it willing to support the Republic of Moldova, in multiple ways and various levels. Now, at this moment, support is a political one, we are declaring that we support the accession of the Republic of Moldova, we are saying this in all formats and are explaining all partners why we believe this to be right," Iohannis declared, after a meeting with visiting Estonian counterpart, Alar Karis.AGERPRES
