President Klaus Iohannis on Friday stated at the informal meeting he had with the media that there isn't going to be "any peace" with the Government, but he will take care to collaborate with the Executive on European matters.

"There isn't going to be any peace with the Government. However, I will take care to collaborate on European matters," said Iohannis.

He also stated that he won't let PM Viorica Dancila participate in the meetings of the European Council.

The head of the state said its collaboration with PSD (Social Democratic Party, at rule, alongside the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats - ALDE) hit bottom, and that next year it will get "even worse."

"My collaboration with PSD hit bottom. (...) I am extremely dissatisfied. (...) Collaboration is now basically down to zero," claimed President Iohannis.
