Justice represents a guarantee of democracy, of the balance between the powers of the state and of the respect for fundamental rights, reads the message from Minister Radu Marinescu delivered on the occasion of Justice Day.
'Justice Day' is celebrated on the first Sunday of July, following its establishment in 1994 by Government Decision, and it represents a symbolic moment dedicated to all legal professionals and personnel within the judicial system who contribute daily to the proper functioning of a fair, efficient and accessible justice system for all citizens,' the message posted Sunday on the Ministry of Justice website reads.
According to the source, Radu Marinescu reaffirms his firm commitment to strengthening the independence of the judicial system, its ongoing development and modernisation, accelerating the digitalisation process to ensure promptness in judicial activities, all within a coherent legislative framework adapted to the needs of today's society.
At the same time, the minister of Justice conveys a message of appreciation and gratitude to all those involved in the act of justice, urging them to maintain a clear and continuous direction for strengthening public trust in justice, through the promotion of transparency, accountability, and inter-institutional dialogue.
