President Klaus Iohannis promulgated on Friday the law on empowering the government to issue ordinances.
The law has as object of regulating the empowerment of the Government to issue ordinances in areas not subject to organic laws, in the period between the end of the second ordinary session of 2021 and until the resumption of the Parliament's works in the first ordinary session of 2022.
The regulatory areas for which the Government is entitled to issue ordinances during the parliamentary holiday are: financing, economy and energy, development, public works and administration, internal affairs, agriculture and rural development, environment and forests, transport and infrastructure, health, research, culture, youth and sports, European funds, as well as the extension or modification of certain terms provided for in pieces of legislation with the force of law.
